Welcome to the official home page of the 2009 Gulf South Conference Men's Basketball Tournament. This site is the best place for GSC fans to find all the information they will need, including ticket and travel information, Tournament results, recaps and links to live stats and broadband internet broadcasts.
This year's four-day Tournament will be held at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, Mississippi from Wednesday, March 4th until Sunday, March 8th. The event begins with the Opening Round on Wednesday and restarts with the Quarter-Finals on Friday afternoon.
DIRECTIONS: The DeSoto Civic Center is conveniently located off of I-55, just south of Memphis, TN. Directions to the DeSoto Civic Center can be found Here.
TICKETS: Tickets are now available to this year's event and can be obtained by calling the DeSoto Civic Center Box Office at (662) 470-2131. Ticket prices are as follows: Single day (Adults $10; Children 11 and under $5; Seniors $8); All-Tournament Passes ($35). Students and Senior citizens receive $2 discount with proper I.D. All tickets are general admission.
PARKING: Parking at the DeSoto Civic Center is $2 for the entire Tournament.
MEDIA: Members of the media who plan on attending this year's event must send credential request(s) to Gulf South Conference Assistant Commissioner Mike Anderson via email, phone (205-991-9880) or fax (205-437-0505). Your request must include your name, the name of the media outlet you represent and the type of credential you are requesting (i.e., photo, print, radio). Radio broadcasts require previous notification sent to the league office by Monday, March 2. Rights fee is $75 per game (max of $300).
