| VSU leads the way with four honorees |
The Gulf South Conference posted six players on the 2009 ITA Men's Tennis Division II All-America Team.
Two-time defending league champion Valdosta State led the way with four honorees, while West Florida and Ouachita Baptist each added one player.
VSU's Joerg Ekkenga was the only GSC honoree to be named in singles and doubles play. David Dueren and Florida Halb were selected in singles while Leos Jelinek was a doubles standout. Dueren was named also tabbed GSC Player of the Year while Jelinek is a four-time All-GSC star.
Completing the league's list of winners was UWF's Kevin Ducros and OBU's Jan Plewinski who were named as singles All-Americans.
