Guymon led HU to GSC Titles this past Saturday

Birmingham, AL-For the second consecutive year, Harding's Steve Guymon was selected GSC Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year.

Guymon earned each honor thanks to a majority vote of his fellow GSC coaches.  HU's men's and women's teams defended their respective Conference Titles at last Saturday's GSC Cross Country Championships in Hoover, Alabama.

Guymon collected his second straight men's accolade, tying him for the most all-time Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year awards (seven).  On the women's side, he claimed his league leading sixth overall honor, fifth consecutive.

Next up for Guymon and the Bisons is next weekend's NCAA South Regional Meet which will be hosted by the University of Tampa and held at Sydney Dover Trails in Dover, FL.
