VSU seeks its second NCAA Men's Tennis Title

Two-time defending GSC Champion Valdosta State will play South Region rival Barry University for the 2010 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Title.

VSU made to the final match, surrendering just one point in three matches.  The Blazers swept Queens College (NY), 5-0, on Wednesday, before topping Abilene Christian, 5-1, on Thursday and sweeping in-state rival Columbus State, 5-0, in Friday's Semi-Finals. 

Valdosta State seeks revenge from a 5-4 loss at Barry during the regular season.  VSU is ranked No. 1 in the nation, while BU is No. 4.  The Blazers seek their second NCAA Men's Tennis crown after hoisting the trophy in 2006.
