The GSC Women’s Cross Country All-Decade Team is headlined by Harding which placed eight on the First Team.
HU’s Janet Kogo was selected as the GSC Runner of the Decade. Kogo collected plenty of hardware from 2000-03, running for two GSC and NCAA South Region Individual Titles. She also earned All-GSC and All-Region First Team honors all four seasons on her way to two All-American times at the NCAA Championships. Kogo’s most distinguished honor came this year when she was inducted into the NCAA DII Cross Country and Track & Field Hall of Fame.
Steve Guymon recorded his second GSC Coach of the Decade after also garnering the men’s honor. Guymon won six GSC Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year laurels the past 10 years, led by five consecutive GSC Titles from 2005-09. He has also guided the Lady Bisons to two NCAA Regional Championships and four Top 10 efforts at the NCAA Title Meet.
Harding is the top Team of the Decade totaling 153 out of a possible 155 All-Sports Trophy points the past 10 seasons. The Lady Bisons claimed eight Conference Crowns, while finishing second at the 2003 and 2004 GSC meets.
