PENSACOLA, Fla. - A GSC powerhouse continued its dominance over the league's women's soccer landscape. 

Top-seeded West Florida (19-0-0, 7-0-0 GSC) claimed its sixth GSC women's soccer championship and second consecutive title with a win over No. 2 seed North Alabama Sunday, 4-1. The Argonauts defeated the Lions (18-3-1, 6-1-0 GSC) for the second time this season, running their winning streak to 19 in a row. UWF got on the board quickly with two goals in the first 23 minutes by senior forward Shaneka Gordon. UNA responded in the 55^th minute as Stephanie Bradshaw found the back of the net off a corner kick from GSC Player of the Year Chloe Roberts. The Argos quickly recaptured the momentum after senior Dernelle Mascall calmly put home a penalty kick less than two minutes later, wrapping up the new league record for women's soccer championships.
