PENSACOLA, Fla. - One of the GSC's top men's soccer programs won another league crown over a new challenger.

For the first time in three seasons, top-seeded West Florida squared off against a new opponent in the GSC Championship match as the Argos claimed their fourth consecutive title with a win over Alabama-Huntsville Sunday, 2-0. With the victory, UWF (11-6-2, 4-0-1) secured their league-leading seventh Tournament Championship. After missing the past five matches due to injury, the Argonauts' lone senior, Jay Mainville, entered the contest in the 30th minute and scored the eventual game-winner on a breakaway less than five minutes later. Despite a strong effort by the Chargers (6-7-4, 3-0-2 GSC), West Florida sealed the match with a penalty kick in the 69th minute by Stephen Munoz.
